Welcome to the CORE HL7 Script Engine! Now you can write simple c# scripts (well, simple for c# coders of almost any level of proficiency) which can perform HL7 related tasks like:

 

•Modifying or tweaking HL7 messages that are passed to it by the Script Engine.

•Creating HL7 messages from scratch using data from your Microsoft SQL or MySQL databases.

•Extracting embedded binary documents (like PDFs) in HL7 messages.

•Or other miscellaneous tasks which you can think of. You have the whole world of Microsoft C# at your fingertips.

 

To get started these are the steps that we suggest.

 

Step 1: Create and test your CORE HL7 C# Script. We recommend that you do this in our FREE CORE HL7 Viewer software (see the Downloads link at the top of this page).

 

 

Step 2: Export your CORE HL7 Script to a Script CheckPoint File.

 

 

Step 3: In your Script Engine software import the CheckPoint you exported in Step 2 into the Script Engine's CORE HL7 Script Library.

 

Step 4: Create a new Script Engine Profile and in this profile use the CheckPoint you imported in Step 3 in the Script CheckPoint tab.

 

Step 5: You are done! Run your Script Engine profile!
