Just click the Start Listening button to begin listening for HL7 messages. While it's running the Stop Listening button will be enabled so that you can stop your listener whenever you like. When listening for HL7 messages the software does have some built-in limitations, they are:

You may receive up to 100 HL7 messages. Once 100 messages are received your listener will automatically stop.

While you can receive up to 100 HL7 messages there is also a data size cap. You can receive a maximum of 30 megabytes of HL7 data in total for each session. Once the HL7 data received exceeds 30 megabytes (OR 100 messages) your listener will automatically stop.

These limitations are per-session. For example, if you receive 100 messages and your listener stops automatically, you can just click the Start Listening button again to start a new session.

Once your session auto completes  (or you have clicked the Stop Listening button) your results will be compiled and you can view your results.

You can repeat your operation as many times as you like just by clicking the Start Listening button again.
