If you need to remove your CORE HL7 MS SQL Schema see Removing Schema Tables.

 

After you have configured your SQL Connection Information and your Schema Information it's time to create your CORE HL7 SQL Schema in the database. To to this click the Create or Remove Schema Tables button in the main window.

This will open up the Create or Remove Your CORE HL7 MS SQL Schema Window. If you need to remove your CORE HL7 MS SQL Schema see Removing Schema Tables.IF you are creating a CORE HL7 Database Schema in this SQL database with the selected Schema Prefix for the first time it will look like the screen-shot below.

In order to Create or Recreate your Schema you must have a CORE HL7 Definition Loaded. If you see No HL7 Definition is loaded in the HL7 Definition field you MUST click the Choose A New HL7 Definition button and select a HL7 Definition before you can Create or Recreate Your Schema. See HL7 Definitions for more information on this.

Once you have chosen the HL7 Definition you want to use click the Create / Recreate Your Schema button and:

 

If the SQL Schema does not currently exist we will either create the schema OR report an error.

OR IMPORTANT. If you are RECREATING your schema you will be asked to confirm that you want to do this (because it cannot be undone). Example below:

When a properly created SQL Schema is detected you will notice that the # of Tables field will show a number > 0 AND the Source field will show the Schema Master table name.
