Ad Hoc HL7 TCP/IP Sender

 

Whenever the HL7 Sending operation(s) stop your results are compiled and the top portion of the window becomes a selection between the Trace Window and the Detailed Sending Results.

 

NOTE: If you are performing hundreds or thousands of send operations the software will only load the top 500 results.

In the Results Grid you can scroll through the messages sent and see at a glance what occurred. As you select an individual message you can see the actual HL7 message you sent as well as the response received from the HL7 Listener in the response detailed area above.

 

The Results Grid is read-only and has the following fields:

 

# - The Message index within the data file you are using. This field will also show the Pass # if you have configured the software to repeat multiple times.

Control ID - The Message Control ID (MSH 10.1) from the HL7 message.

Type - The HL7 Message Type (MSH 9.1).

Event - The HL7 Message Event (MSH 9.2).

Delivered - A checkbox indicating whether the HL7 message was successfully delivered.

Ack Expected - A checkbox indicating whether there was a HL7 Acknowledgement expected.

Received - A checkbox indicating whether there was a HL7 Acknowledgement received.

Ack - The actual text value of the Acknowledgement Type received back, or "None" if no ACK was received.

Error - A checkbox indicating whether there was any type of error encountered.
